Starting with a brief phone call, we'll go over what you're shopping for, and any concerns you may have. We'll tell you about our policies upfront, so there are no surprises.
When you arrive at the store, we'll ask you a few questions about your personal style. This is the perfect time to share with us any inspirational pictures or big fashion no-no's you may have.
Coming in with a blank slate and an open mind? No problem. We don't always know exactly what we're looking for when we go shopping, but that's okay. That's where we come in.
Your sales person will pull pieces they think will work for your style, body and budget, and the trying on process begins!
It's important to us that you get everything you need from your experience at Emily's, so you never have to step foot into a mall. Whether you're shopping for a gown for your child's wedding, a date night outfit or your new favorite pair of jeans, we've got you covered.

In April of 1982, Staten Island native Emily Rassias opened Emily’s of New York on Richmond Road at the age of 21. Inspired and supported by the entrepreneurial spirit of her father, Emily set out to build the type of boutique that did not yet exist on the island.
Recognizing the need for a shop that offered quality sportswear, evening wear and a more personal experience, Emily devoted herself to creating a store that is now humbly known as the premiere shopping destination of Staten Island. For Emily, the most rewarding part of owning the store has been the friendships she has made along the way with her customers and employees.
In the last 40 years, Emily’s has undergone three expansions to accommodate its growing clientele and is planning a fourth in 2022.
